Founder Information
Jahidul Raju is a pioneer in rabbit welfare across Bangladesh and South Asia. He is the founder of Rabbit Welfare Society of Bangladesh (RWSB), established in 2012, and also the founder of Rabbit Society of India, both of which are dedicated to improving rabbit care and welfare. Under his leadership, more than 40 admins and moderators have actively contributed to these organizations, working to ensure proper care, medical support, and protection for rabbits in need.
His journey in rabbit welfare began earlier, in 2010, when he became a member of the South Asia Rabbit Club. Later, he expanded his influence by joining the Thailand Rabbit Club, gaining international exposure to rabbit care practices. His dedication and leadership earned him the position of President of the South Asia Rabbit Club from 2014 to 2018, where he played a crucial role in advancing rabbit welfare in the region.
Today, the combined membership of Rabbit Welfare Society of Bangladesh (RWSB) and Rabbit Society of India exceeds 100,000 members, making them some of the largest rabbit welfare communities in South Asia.
Jahidul Raju continues to work tirelessly to improve the lives of rabbits through education, awareness campaigns, and community engagement. His experience, leadership, and dedication inspire rabbit enthusiasts and animal welfare advocates across Bangladesh, India, and beyond, encouraging responsible rabbit ownership and compassionate care.
